Well now is the perfect time as Philips has recently released a new product bundle, the DPM6700 designed for people in your situation. This new bundle includes their newly developed DPM6000 series Digital Pocket Memo voice recorder, transcription & dictation software as well as a foot pedal and headset. SpeechExec Transcribe will be installed on the Typist workstation and can be setup to receive dictations off of the voice recorder from the authors workstation. Here the typist will be able to use the foot pedal, headset and the software together to review jobs. There are many more features available in the professional versions of these pieces of software that I will discuss in a later blog. Although designed to be straight forward with setup and installation, we can also do this for you with the purchase of our support blocks. You will have the option of adding this to your cart at time of order or you can purchase it after as well.
With this great product you will have everything you need to get started in digital dictation/transcription.
